Suffolk County Council Veterans of Foreign Wars is a 501(c)19 non-for-profit veteran organization that supports veterans and the community around Suffolk County. The purpose of the organization is to ensure that veterans are respected for their service, always receive their earned entitlements, and are recognized for the sacrifices they and their loved ones have made on behalf of this great country.

The Suffolk County Council also works hard to support the community around Suffolk County through our work with various elected officials and community leaders.

As a non-for-profit entity the Veterans of Foreign Wars depends on the dedication of the community and local government for support. All monies raised by the Suffolk County Council go to service veterans and their families as well as veteran organization on Long Island and their programs that support veterans.
